George E. Mundy                    George is a native of Cedartown, Georgia and a third generation lawyer practicing on Main Street in Cedartown. Beginning in 1972 his diverse legal practice evolved into representing exclusively applicants for disability benefits. George has successfully handled thousands of disability cases in Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee at both the administrative and appellate levels. Forty years of intense and continuous experience in the exclusive area of disability law has resulted in competent and effective representation for his disability clients. George is a past president of the State Bar of Georgia and a long time member of the State Bar of Georgia Board of Governors. He is a sustaining member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives (NOSSCR), and has been a past lecturer and speaker at the State Bar “Continuing Legal Education Seminars” on Social Security Disability. He is admitted to practice in the Superior Courts of Georgia, Georgia Court of Appeals, Supreme Court of Georgia, and the United States District Court for the Northern and Middle districts of Georgia.

          George is the current chairman of the W.D. Trippe Charitable Trust and is a member of the Polk County, Georgia Development Authority. He is a past chairman of the Polk County, Georgia Chamber of Commerce. He has served his local Methodist Church as past chairman of the administrative board, chairman of the staff parish relations committee and as senior-high Sunday school teacher for over 20 years, as well as other numerous roles. He and his wife Martiti have two children.

Benjamin C. Burch (The SSDI Guy)

          Benjamin is originally from Rockmart, Georgia and began practicing law in the fall of 2012. In 2004 he graduated from the Darlington School and enrolled at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia that fall. After completing his four year degree in Journalism at Mercer University, Benjamin accepted an offer to study law at the University of Memphis in Memphis, Tennessee. While studying law at the University of Memphis, Benjamin, along with a class mate and professor, founded the Mental Health Law & Policy Journal, which is the Nation’s first law review styled journal in the United States to specialize in mental health law and policy. Benjamin graduated from the University of Memphis in the spring of 2012. Since joining the firm, Benjamin has represented over 2000 claimants in Social Security Disability Hearings!  Benjamin has also served on the Board of the Cedartown Polk Humane Society and the Board for Our House Women's Shelter. Benjamin and his wife, Jennifer Burch of the Cedarstream Corporation, and son now live in Cedartown, Georgia.

Laura Lundy Wheale:
Laura Lundy Wheale grew up in Cedartown, Georgia. Laura is a proud graduate of Jacksonville State University, class of 2010. While there, she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre, balancing her studies with her responsibilities as a full scholarship athlete. As a member of JSU's tennis team, she and her teammates experienced an undefeated season, culminating as the Ohio Valley Conference champions. While at JSU, Laura was a member of Phi Mu Fraternity, Phi Kappa Phi, and Omicron Delta Kappa. Laura performed in numerous theatre shows at the Stone Center.
After undergraduate school, Laura attended the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. While there, she was named the Scholar of Merit in Shakespeare and Trial Advocacy. Laura has practiced law since 2013.
From March 2019 to March 2022, Laura served as the Chief Juvenile Judge of the Tallapoosa Judicial Circuit. While Juvenile Judge, she also presided over the Tallapoosa Circuit Family Treatment Court, which was recognized as a Model Court by the Council for Accountability Court Judges for the state of Georgia.
In her spare time, Laura has experienced great success as an actress. Her first major motion picture role came when she was cast in Ang Lee's "Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk" as Kristen Stewart and Joe Alwyn's big sister, Patty Lynn. Shortly thereafter, she was cast in Clint Eastwood's "Sully" as a reporter interviewing Tom Hanks. Prior to these movies, Laura had a supporting role in the film "A Larger Life" with the late Senator Fred Thompson, which can be viewed on UP Television and Film Network. In television, Laura was the co-lead in "That Renovation Show". Additionally, Laura trained at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in L.A.
Laura was the 2017 JSU Young Alumni of the Year and was most recently appointed as an at-large member of the JSU National Alumni Association. Laura currently serves as the President for the Greater Rome JSU Alumni Chapter and as a member of the Cedartown Junior Service League.
Laura is married to Patrick Wheale, and they have two children. Their family worships at the Oak Hill Church of Christ.
Chuck Morris:
Chuck grew up Helena, Alabama, and graduated from Pelham High School in 1988. In 1992, Chuck received a B.A. in Theatre Arts and Speech at the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee.
In 1998, Chuck earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, at Georgia State University’s College of Law. While in law school, Chuck was a member of the Student Trial Lawyers’ Association, and competed as a member of Georgia State’s trial team. Chuck served as an intern for Georgia Supreme Court Justice Carol Hunstein, and Fulton County Superior Court Judge Alford Dempsey. Chuck also completed an internship at the Georgia Indigent Defense Council’s Appellate Division, learning appellate law and practice under the mentorship of Appellate Division Director James C. Bonner, Jr.
Chuck joined the Law Firm of Parker and Lundy upon graduation from law school in 1998. Chuck has been admitted to practice before all levels of Georgia’s courts, including the United States District Court, the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Georgia Supreme Court. Since beginning his practice, Chuck has worked on his clients’ behalf to obtain substantial six-figure and seven-figure recoveries by litigating their cases to conclusion with jury trials, workers’ compensation trials, and settlement mediations. Chuck is a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers’ Association, the State Bar of Georgia, the American Bar Association and the American Association of Justice.
In addition to his law practice, Chuck serves as an Associate Judge for the Juvenile Courts of Polk and Haralson Counties. As a part-time judge, Chuck hears cases involving allegations of delinquency and dependency on a weekly basis. Chuck’s work with the Juvenile Court provides opportunities to assist at-risk children and youth by obtaining vital services and support within the community.
Chuck has been active in the community since he began his law practice. Chuck has served as chair of the Tallapoosa Judicial Circuit Re-Entry Coalition, served on the Board of the Cedartown Walk of Fame Committee and Downtown Development Association, served as President of the Tallapoosa Bar Association, Campaign Chairman for the Cedartown United Fund, and President of the Cedartown Kiwanis Club.
Chuck has also re-kindled his interest in the Theatre, directing, producing and appearing in many productions in Cedartown and Rome. Chuck, his law partner Bill Lundy, and Bill’s wife Catharine founded the Cedartown Theatrical Performers’ Company which provided performing opportunities for Cedartown children and teenagers. In addition to his efforts with Cedartown Theatrical Performers’ Company, Chuck has served as President of the Board of Directors of Rome Little Theatre, Chairman of the Cedartown Civic Arts Commission Board of Directors, and Chairman of the Historic DeSoto Theatre Foundation.
